Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using MediaBrew (available at mediabrew.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms apply to all visitors and users of MediaBrew.

Acceptable use

MediaBrew is provided for lawful personal and commercial use. You agree not to use MediaBrew to:

• Process, distribute, or create content that infringes a third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
• Process content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, obscene, or violates any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract the site's source code, assets, or underlying models for redistribution.
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the site in a manner that degrades performance for other users.

MediaBrew reserves the right to terminate access for users who violate these terms.

Intellectual property

Your files: You retain full ownership of any media files you process using MediaBrew. Because all processing happens locally in your browser, your files are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. We make no claim to any content you upload, process, or download using the site.

Our content: The MediaBrew name, logo, site design, and written content are the property of MediaBrew. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without prior written permission. The underlying open-source libraries used by MediaBrew (such as ffmpeg.wasm) are subject to their own respective licences.

Disclaimer of warranties

MediaBrew is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. Processing results may vary depending on your browser, device hardware, and the content of your files. You use MediaBrew at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MediaBrew and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the site or its tools, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Because MediaBrew is free to use, this amount is zero.

Third-party services

MediaBrew uses the following third-party services that may collect and process data independently:

• Google AdSense – displays advertisements on the site. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to personalise ads based on your browsing activity. You can manage your ad preferences at adssettings.google.com.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of MediaBrew after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.
